What is the best way to build a backcountry kicker? WHat sort of location should i look for and what shape jump do i make? And also what's the easiest and best way to build the jump

 
well its always easier to build something before the storm comes and just, stomp the inrun out and touch up the jump after the storm. But if worse comes to worse you can always dig down for deep snow if you cant pack the light pow on top. You cut blocks out of the snow and stack them like bricks. Look for a nice landing free of rocks, debris, exc. and remeber the bigger the jump the better!

yeah but scout out the perfect location before making it.

theres nothing worse than making a great jump but realizing you put it in the wrong spot.. ie: bad landing or something..

if i goes steep down then flat then steep it is perfect, biuld the kicker on the flat so you go down the steep for speed hit the kicker, then clear the flat (like a park jump) adn land on hte steep

Dude just take all your skiis and snowboards and stick them together in the snow in a line and pile snow against them until the snow starts going over and around them, then move them at a 90 degree to where they last were and do it again. and if you want to make a big booter then just make the base like 2 feet wider then you want the lip, then when you have snow piled as high as your skiis reach you can pull them out and stick them in the top again easiest way by far, and the snow doesn't ahve to be sticky at all. The bricks work decent too.

my tip, build the whole stuff on a small cliff or something. It feels like the main part of the kicker is already done.
