Backcountry Kicker advice.

So in my nearby wood down the street i found a pretty sick spot in there.(ill post pics later) so im beggining to start actually doing some work on it and i had a question.

Should i leave the leaves on the ground and rake all the other shit out or just rake everything out?

get rid of leaves if you are fiulming because it will make it look better, but then again it really would depend son the lighting and angles
 
ya its a "Nature preserve" and it goes through the trail so i dont want to make it too noticable.
 
is there any snow, cuz ur makin sound like theres no snow with the its the down the street and the leaves part.
 
pro- leafs add cushioning and protection against ground

con-may stick to snow used in building

definitely move logs and stuff, but if its in a 'nature preserve' then i'd leave the leaves, they wont do any damage
 
ya im taking out logs and other stuff. but the main question was keep the leaves or take em out?

Its pretty cool because theres a tree jib on the bottom

 
take em out, if they are in the drop in then it will slow you down for sure. At least it slowed me down.
