Back yard rail setup help

ok so i wanna build a 20 ft. flat rail w/ the grey electrical PVC pipes and i need help with building it

I have already built a box with metal rail drilled in to the side of a long wood block ( no plastic and it slides fine, cheap ad efficient)

i need to learn how to build a stand for this and how to lockt he 2 PVC pipes together
 
When i built my double barrel pvc rail i had two pvc's about and inch and a half wide and i duct taped them tightly together onto a 2 bi 4 that was a little under the width of the two pvc's. I then drilled holes through the pvc's on both end and in the middle and drilled a screw through each hole. The holes might be like 2-2.5 cm's wide but trust me your skis wont catch. For supports I just bought a couple 2 bi 4's and cut them equal lengths (about 1.5 feet long), with the very bottem suppost being maybe 2.5 feet long. Depending on how high you want it you can nail together maybe 3 or 4 peices for the supports, and then attach it to the long 2 bi 4 that has the pvc's on it.
