I have convinced my dad to let me attempt to make a astroturf drop in with a couple rails and what not...

After starting to put everything together he has informed me i am retarded and insane in believing this will work.

Either help me with tips, or tell me if it will work or not because my dad doesn't believe hahaha738570.jpeg738569.jpeg

this is a half assed snapchat sketch the green will be dirt formed to make the ramp with astroturf on top.

the wood will all have astroturf on top of it as well.

will it work???

They are all going to be secured to the stump with 2x4's and the pallet that transitions to the grass will have a foot or two of dirt covering the bottom. I also plan on putting ply wood onto of the pallets to create an evenly flat surface to staple the astroturf on. I just posted the picture i had already because my dad doesn't believe it will work so i needed some help from NS!!!!

You gotta support those pallets somehow dude. If you don't, you'll drop in, during the first .2 seconds you'll be hyped because its working, then it will all fall apart, you'll slam hard , it will topple on top of you, you'll lay there seeing your hopes and dreams in shambles, your life will slowly fall apart, and you may end up dealing crack out of your mom's basement.

But on the real, add some supports. They'll help, a lot.

This is one of the sketchiest things I've seen in a while. It MIGHT work but it really wouldn't be that much effort to add some bracing. You wouldn't want to get hurt before you even make it to the rail.

Also 2x4's are pretty cheap. Ask for a miter saw for xmas, snag up some 2x4s and go to town.

i replied with a comment that said i am adding support... and even said I'm adding 2x4's.....

You need to mellow down those angles, I made a set up at my friends house that was too steep to flat and I ended up breaking my ski on it but then layer we fixed the set up but still not rely worth it
