so im loking into getting some spine protection, ya know, just ot be on the safe side. im looking at some of the poc gear, anybody have any experience with it?

searchbar the poc.

and yeah it can be useful if you're doing inverts and corked spins. but if you're not then do what you want with your money, but it's not nessecary.

I believe Jon wears the poc one, and if you have the money for it I would definitely get it.

I'm trying to get one for christmas, before park season gets into full swing.

This would seem like the one, but does anyone know if there is a park specific one?

I don't know too much about body armor, so I'm not sure how well this would move.

I saw a POC back protector in person the other day...they are super stiff, I have seen some online that will probably be better for park. Can't think of which ones though...

It's really you're decision, probly If you're really into getting inverted on bigger park jumps

It is a sacrafice in mobility, only you can really decide

i know tanner is sponsored by poc but does anybody knows if he wears any of this stuff?

o and by the way, Backcountry.com carries poc.

i use a back proctector and impact shorts. they dont limit my movement at all, and i dont even notice them when i ski. i cant say how awesome it is to do crazy shit and land on my back and not feel a thing. or when im spinning on rails and shit and i catch an edge or slip out and i fall right on the side of the my thigh, it doesnt hurt at all. theyre definitely worth it

im also wondering if they are worth it.

i always hear about horrible story's where people get paralized skiing and shit and frankly it makes me quite paranoid. If i couldnt walk, i think i would kill myself so maybe there not such a bad idea.
