Back pivoting bindings

has anyone had any problems with look/rossi bindings back pivoting when you go up jumps or anything. any one know what im talkin about?

 
i know what ur talking about but i have never had, or heard any problems about the rear-pivot...its siick all the way

i rock them, and most pros that dont haave binding sponsors... ie tanner... use the rossi rear pivot axials... so they are the best binding in their mind too.

I think that the new model doesn't have them because there were some problems.

The pivot heel is being phased out due to complaints about it "not providing a secure hold", since all the other standard bindings CLICK pretty loud so you know when you are locked in. I guess the complaints outweighed the saved knees. Oh well, can still get them in the race bindings, or just look for (what are now) discontinued ones on ebay.

don't get nitpicky. the fks still has the rear pivot and all the elastic travel but in a lighter, more durable, all metal frame with a higher din.

my level of radness... it just can't... be quantified.
 
^yeh both similar and sick.The FKS is more like next years pivot as it has the more forward pressure ect. doesnt actually swivel

The biggest problem with the pivot heel was if you put much pressure on it with the design of that track it would just strip out. Hence the new bindings being able to put out more forward pressure, with the redesign of the track/heel. Its a beter design that leaves alot more room for progression of design instead of the same stagnant, but for the most part reliable design they have been using.

 
i have some tyrolia rear pivot bindings...havent had a problem with em yet

on a side note i dont think i kno anyone that rocks tyrolia

i never had any problems like that the only think that ever happened to me was that the Front Binding peice fliped up vertical but it just pops back into place.

 
the fks is pretty much like the new pivots as it has 40% more forward pressure ect... doesnt actually swivel like the p10 and p12
