yes, backflips are very ugly if you do the whole frog-legged thing..but if not, theyre fine. and tons of people still do backflips!

I think some backflips don't look good, like the dude who was talking about the frog leg steeze was saying, but backflips can look really tight, especially mute backflips. I don't really like Morrison's backflips but he throws them off some nutty shit. Also, the guy who started this post licks balls.

everyone who thinks backflips are ugly are just pissed off because they dont have the balls to do one. A layed out backflip of a forty footer is the most bad ass thing you can do in skiing

 
It's really funy because the last two days of this season me and my friend started doing inverts, We did everything from flairs to d-spins (overrotated everything, never landed any of them) but we never did any straight flips. It's weird but next year I'm gona learn to do everything and land em all... maybe... well, maybe just some... maybe...

How did you guys start doing backs anyway? Just build a kicker out somewhere with a pow landing? Or did you guys practice on tramps,water ramps, or did you guys have coaches....speaking of coaches...do they help at all?

I have learned cork 3s before a backflip its just the part of landing on your head that makes people freak out...its weird I showed my mom a film of me falling and doing a cork 3 and smashing my head and she was fine then she saw the backflip that I overrotated and landed on my ass and flipped out

I saw a kid do a switch layed out backflip over an 80 foot table, that was cool.
