Bachy rail park?

I heard a while back that Bachy was planning on setting up a pre-season rail garden? Since it doesn't look like we will be shredding thanksgiving, anyone know if they might still put on up? I need SOMETHING before winter break

i prey this is true. Im going up to sunriver for a "family vacation" and will be bored out of my mind if bachelor doest give me something to do. any word?

if im not mistaken i think they are desperately trying to open this week. Im pretty sure They were plowing all the snow in the parking lot into piles and then moving those piles onto the mountain to get some more coverage.

We are def trying. The snow we were moving is now in the base area around the lift. The coverage is def not there at the moment. About 10 kids were hitting a rail and bringin it down to dirt.

It's enuff for a few jibs (that a few people hit), but not enough for crowds just yet. Make the 1" forecast turn into 10" please.

What we are doing is trucking snow from our parking lots into the tubing area and into a spot near the lodge to offer a rail park and self propelled tubing this Friday and Saturday.

It'll be open 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on both Fri and Sat. Also open will be the Ski and Sport Shop, Clearing Rock Bar and we'll be grilling up food outside.

If you have a season pass the snow fun will be free, if not it's just $5.

In regards to opening day, we're still looking at a warm forecast without much snow in the short term. As soon as we get better news we'll let ya know!

i heard its going to be above the ski school staging area.

it was cool last year, but that spot just isnt that great.

it got WAY too crowded for teh 2-3 rails set up.

The final setup is TBD until Hames gets to start pushing stuff into place tomorrow night. From talking to him today I'd say between 5 and 10 features.

We have harvested EVERY parking lot to make this happen. Took a week of plowing, bucket loading, hauling, dropping, and grooming.

See ya Fri.

If you guys wanna hike a little there's more snow up higher. Myself and Team Tahoe went up to the cone tree line and built a sick kicker. Rail park will be sick to have though, I'm sick of hitting the tiny shit we've all been bringing up.

Sooo dope! Tons of kids showed and plenty threw down. Almost felt like a rail jam. That vid is sick too DJAK, especially the still shot of the skier in the red sweatshirt. :) thanks man!
