i like stoli vodka, probably the best buy for your money in the vodka dept... if you're going to get rum, get 151. just make sure you have some tums on hand...

the capt morgans private stock is a pretty nice selection as well, costs a few more bucks, but it has about 10% more alc or something like that

you should give gin a try if you havent yet

 
malibu coconut rum is a pretty good selection if you want to do mixed drinks, it mixes really well (not soda) with almost any sort of juice

 
i dont drink that often, but i like that bacardi with the blacklabel (dunno what is called), ive only seen it in 12 oz. bottles at partys.

sorry, i meant private stock has more alc than the spiced rum variety. i think its 80 proof for the private stock as opposed to 70

Someone mentioned malibu....malibu is chick shit...if you're going to drink it, don't just mix it with juice....mix it with juice and other alcohol like white rum.....the malibu is meant to flavor it more than it is to provide the alcohol

i like to sail straight with the captain and you cant be like yea have a few shots of bacardi if yorue already drunk are you fucking serious 151 will kick anyones ass i dont care who you are....but i reccommend doing a fireshot with everclear...its a fun time but make sure you dont do anything before that ive seen people spill it on them

last week i had half a cup of strait up grey goose vodka then drank about 6 beers...by that time i was pretty tipsy and then i had 3 shots of 151 and i didnt puke or anything...im only 130 pounds and i never felt like i was gonna puke... 151 is just a little stronger than vodka...like 1.5 shots of vodka=1 shot of 151..it really isnt that much more intense...you guys make it seem like 2 shots of 151 is gonna make you pass out...you guys have got to be kidding me. its a great drink to have when your starting to feel drunk..cuz it goes down easier and kicks in without all the extra weight of beer(which makes you puke)

i drank waaaay too much razz and goldschlagers and i threw...i cant even smell razz anymore without feeling sick, goldschlagers tastes like really strong cinnamon altoids and it has little tiny flakes of gold in it that actually cut slits in your throat (you cant feel it) so the alcohol travels to your bloodstream faster

Dude, If your lookign for a delicious rum, you have to get a dark jamacian rum like Appeltons or Old sam or One that is my favorite, but that you cant get unless you live in the canadian maratimes, Newfounland Screech. These rums have so much more flavor than any of the white or flavored crap. But if your going to get a flavored bacardi, I highly suggest the lemon one.

its funny cause in a thread about rum everyone is talking about brands of vodka. if your mixing with coke/pepsi your best off with the bacardi silver. The captain will always do you well, a little golden or spiced always tastes good. appletons is shit in a bottle (lasted 3 years in my alc cabinet cause noone wants it). screech is good and fun to feed people who dont know what it is...staright up its really fun to watch peoples faces after a shot.
