Baby death vs fce9 vs new 43mm for hv30

i want to get a new fisheye for my hv30 but i dont know what to getbabydeath-soft vigfce9- i would prefer not to have to deal with moding this forhv30new 43mm death-very expensive, not that wide
which one should i get?? does anyone have and fce9 footyu with the hv30?
 
don't even consider the baby death, unless you are gonna get a custom step down ring to get rid of the vig. You have to shave off some of the threads on the ring.
the fce9, you don't have to mod at all, all you have to do is out on a step down ring. you see, the fce9 is ment to be zoomed, so you can zoom through all the vig and the footy will be fine. also the fce9 isn't made anymore, so finding one might be a challenge.
and if you have seen the new 43mm lens, there is an alot of distortion, the only issue i have with it is the vig on the right side. but that can be fixed with a little zooming.

 
yea but the if i didnt cut off the giant neck on the fce9 that would be such a pain in the ass
im thinkin babydeath i have seen some good footy with it, besides all you have to do is just file down the step down rijng right?
 
i know haha but there just arent any good 43mm fisheyes. its mainly for skating so it would be worth it
 
Not at all, that lens un-modded is in my opinion the best for the HV20/30. The modded version gives it groos vig( i think). and here is footy of it, http://blip.tv/file/1173419 And it's not a "lens adapter" it's a fishey, I mean sure, i guess you could call it an adapter cause it adapts the camera to aehv a wider viewing area.
 
You guess you could call it a lens adapter? No it IS a lens adapter. Unless the lens of the actual camera comes off and you put another lens on (like an SLR) then its a lens adapter.
