yeah i think it had something to do w/drugs and someone pete townshend actually knew. i'll ask one of my friends...he's into that stuff pretty hardcore.

Townsend used Baba's biorhythm to make the synth riff.
so basically yeah. drinking, and the obsession in Meher Baba. I reaqd some of his teachings, it's kinda weird he says he's an avitar of God and he keeps coming back to earth, but he doesn't want people to follow him because every religion brings you to the same God as long as it motivates you to do good.
