interested to see the Inspired episodes too. hopefully they can be more skiing, or real interviews showing their "personalities" as brobomb said. and less lip synching to wu-tang or waving your arms around like you have bee's in your hoodie.

I'm going to miss them in the next level 1 movie, hopefully they get a lot of urban in the "webisodes".

Henrik has only really had one full segment with level 1 and phil has only had two, it's not like they're the meat and potatos of level 1.

I do not know enough about this but overall this seems super wack. L1P made Phil and Hendrik's filming career. It's like Lebron leaving Cleveland, except I doubt I.M.P has more money than L1P haha. Like someone pointed out earlier why can't they film with both companies like Wiley does w/ TGR and L1P?

You didn't see this coming? the last B&e edit was made in part by inspired. Reguardless, Iberg is sick. Henrik hardly had a part in Level 1 this year, Phil was a highlight for sure, but they still have many other good skiers. Inlcuding the not hyphy not underground Tom Wallisch... among many others like hornbeck and ahmet. You really won't notice a difference in Level 1's movies. I can almost guarantee you that.

wasnt henrik was hurt last season...? i dont you cant get shots when you cant ski?

and to people hating on deckers response, really? if someone told me that another guy's work was way better i would ask for proof too. he probably could have worded it differently, but it is still a completely reasonable response.

I think webisodes suit them better anyways... I see the industry going that way more in the future... with tons of webisdoes coming out on all different labels, shits gunna be tight. Kinda surprised decker doesn't like dubski, idea, etc. Iberg has always been onto some future shit. IDEA will still be epic when im 50yrs old, shits timeless.
 
Agreed, although I must admit I'm bummed about this news. I wonder if B&E will still film with 4bi9, or is that out too? Shame they couldn't continue to film with both:(

Hopefully Iberg can clean it up a bit. I dont know if i will buy a level 1 movie next year though i havent really enjoyed level 1 movies since Turbo.
 
Don't see how their is ANY hate or doucheyness in this although Kyle did just get a BUNCH of backlash... There is actually alot more truth in the question Kyle is posing than most of you realize.
As far as this move.. curious to see what Inspired Media brings. I am sure it will be dope as those two skiers are just about them most fun to watch. From what I have seen, Inspired Media seems to be more of a network of people working on video projects as opposed to the more tight knit operation of Level 1. I will have to admit, the kind of creative urban Level 1 delivered in Eye Trip blows my mind, and I know they will continue to hone their activities this year on features like that. Bummed Casabon and Henrik won't be along on some of those escapades this year with Level 1.

 
i am so sick of posts like these from some of you people. i honestly wouldn't care if it turned out that iberg had never actually edited something in his life. i don't even love iberg all that much, i like some of his work and dislike just as much. but that response was just juvenile and catty

poor boyz gets ripped apart all the time on this board but at least they have the good sense and maturity to not respond in a bitter and defensive way.. learn to act like an adult, a professional one at that..

so much dumb bitching in this thread. all i know is that my favorite edit from 2010 was the most recent episode of b&e, and my favorite movie of the year was like a lion. i have a lot of faith in the move to inspired because of this.

if you watch old level 1 you ll see candide and simon. i dont really want to see them in a level 1 movie now. i love the fact that candide is doing his own shit.

i love the fact that level1 brings out new names and new talent every year.

Iberg does great work and has a huge role in making amazing action sports media. I have so much respect and love for the work that passionate creative individuals in our sport put forth day in and day out.
As a creator in this industry myself I also understand where Level 1 is coming from if they are vocal about this kind of stuff. Building relationships with athletes year in and year out is one of the most exciting parts of the job. Having them leave in a dramatic way like this hurts, no matter how much people stay homies on the personal level. I sympathize with any frustration that Level 1 is vocal about because this is their life. They aren't being 'douches' or 'little bitches' or whatever. Although professional to be tough and shut your mouth but on stuff like this, in the heat of the moment "SOME OF US PEOPLE" are gonna speak.

true story I called people magazine they confirmed the rumor, kids got no respect these days.

In all honesty, I think it's a good thing, sucks for level1 but you got to mixthings up once in a while. i dont want to blame the ski moie companies but i feel the ski movies are just the same old shit everyyear, the only new is the skiing. I cant wait for the day I will watch a ski movie from start to finish without skipping a segment

 
I'm still not quite over this yet, but I'm beginning to see it in a new light. Judging by how awesome muddy winter was I'm guessing the new BnE with full commitment is going to be awesome. Besides this opens up so many new opportunities for more shots of other sick up and coming athletes. The segment in eye trip with vanular, brogan, downey, and wesson was sick and I wished they could get more shots. And now with seany J and compton theres still so much talent in the crew its ridiculous. Even with Downey hurt I believe, + vibes to him on healing fast because he is sick. Thinking about it now I think this could actually turn out really well. More footage and recognition of up and comers who are killing it and I'm sure tons of sick stuff from casabon and henrik, plus BnE comes out midseason so we dont even need to wait untill next fall.
 
does anyone know if henrik will continue to shoot with 4bi9? he didnt have a real full segment in gunnie season bit i though maybe it was because he was injured?
