B Dog mitt sizing

so on amazon (have a gift card) there are 2 options of the B dog mitt. One that is $60 that is size small, and one that is $48 but is size XL.

My hands are id say small/average size hands. Would the B dog mitt in size XL be way to big?

Are there better mitten options for less?
 
On the armada website it says sizes S-XL yet when you are trying to order it doesn't let you pick a size. And when its in the shopping cart it doesnt mention a size
 
Yeah the class will be huge on you and in turn this will make the gloves ineffective. If you have spare room in the glove you are more likly to get cold. It will also be more awkward holding a pole. Just spend the extra 12 bucks and get the right size.
