Sorry if this is a repost, but I looked on the first page and this was recent so...

http://espn.go.com/action/freeskiing/story/_/id/7890483/canada-names-2013-slopestyle-halfpipe-teams&f

If your too lazy to read the article:

A Team: Alex Bellemare, JF Houle, Kaya Turski and Dara Howell

B Team: Alexi Godbout, Alex Beaulieu-Marchand, Charles Gagnier, Jamieson Irvine, Noah Morrison, Vincent Gagnier, TJ Schiller, Kim Lamarre, and Yuki Tsubota

Okay, well where the hell is Casabon. Charles hasn't competed in years, TJ's been out on injury, I don't even know who Dara Howell and Yuki are? They really fucked up on this one.

On one hand I can understand it as he never wins or even podiums (no disrespect to him, more to the judges). However, on the other hand this is a chance to show skiing to the world and b dogs unique and sick style is something that should definitely be on show. Pretty stupid decision. Don't really get why TJ is on the b team either. When he's fit he's the best guy on there :S

He just need to go get himself a Mexican citizenship and he can compete as the Mexican slopestyle team

Charles not being in the A team, what the fuck, everything he does is so fresh and mindblowing.

I dont know about that because he honestly almost never gets in the top 5. He probably gets paid for the b&e episodes and shit too

he definitely can't.... I saw him at the water ramps and he was struggling with dubs and it's even worse on tramps. Thats why he's sticking up with simple

Is anyone actually surprised? B-dog is pretty much the sickest out and someone I would love to see in the olympics but with the current state of competitive skiing, he doesn't stand a chance. The thing to be mad about here isn't that he wasn't put on the team, but that comp skiing is such that B-dog isn't considered a contender

Basically this.

He just has no business in that field of skiing right now, with how the things are going. He can try and try, but unless the rules and judging methods flip upside down, he has no chance of winnign anything, hence not being on any team suited for possible victory.

This is actually some good news. He gets to start smoking again and get his flow going through the roof.

This x10. She dub corked on water ramps last year which is very impressive, plus she's younger than most professional women.

I would imagine a lot of athletes don't want to compete in the Olympics anymore because of the retarded judging system.

No, no they didn't. Casabon isn't going to get a medal, no disrespect to him but why would they send if he doesn't have a chance? He releases some of the best video segments for sure, but his competition results by no means justifies him a place on the Olympic team. Some people need to realise this.

His runs have some style but hes never gonna win a medal.

So why should the team pay for his training if hes gonna go there and not try and win?

You kids are retarded. The Olympic slopestyle team is picked solely on who will yield the best results. I enjoy watching B-dog as much as the next freestyle skier, but that doesn't mean he should make the olympic team.. B-dog has amazing style and creativity, but he doesn't have the bag of technical competition tricks that other skiers have, and his competition results show it.

TJ isn't on the A team because his knee has been fucked for the past few seasons, and he hasn't had a chance to compete and prove himself in the new-era of slopestyle.

Alexis has only been on the podium once at a

major event and there's no way he has more than 5 top 10 finishes.

I don't think Charles has even competed in slopestyle in the past 2 years...

JMO has potential beyond imagine, but once again, still hasn't proven himself.

Bellemare and Houle have both provided solid slopestlye results, and continue to kill it to this day. I could see Houle being replaced by Godbout or Irvine in the future, but until someone else steps up their game, Bellemare and Houle are without a doubt the best choices for our A team.

he doesn't want to dub, he is super steezey and i love that cuz its gangta and not "FUTURE SPINS!"

witnessed this one

no doubt b-dog kills it

but lets be real...

b&e and future spins are like putting Redman and Clay Aiken in the same room...

hahahahahahahaha. Gotta love you internet anarchists. I don't understand the direction of your comment (we were talking about the olympic audience), nor do I have the time to argue your ignorance. But just to let you know - the olympics are a lot more than "a few Swiss dudes making millions in profit off the back of amateur athletes".

This might be a really dumb question, but is Alex Beaulieu-Marchand the same kid as the Alex Bealieu who was one of the superunknown finalists this year?
