with all the new issues of mags comming out, i was jus wondering if anyone knew what is going on with axis, cause thats a sick mag

yeah i havent heard anything about it, i even emailed powder cause i think its part of their mag, didnt get a reply

The only thing I don't like about axis is that it's from powder... I mean, whenever you buy that magazine, your money is going to the oldtimers that bash our sport! That shit is sac-religious dude!

powder bashing our sport? is that what super park has been doing all these years? and i'm not sure that axis was owned by powder i think it was just distibuted with powder or something i dunno

yeah whoopie for powder; they devote 12 pages of one issue to us under 25. they're trying to straddle a line to sell as many mags as possible. hopefully they'll make AXIS a full fledged mag

personally i like the semi newschool articles in powder because they are often written from an older or different point of view. i nice to here from someone other than the average ski junky (not that im not that very junky myself)

 
yeah powder is a sick mag, there is more to skiing than a park

of course skiing is always the best in person, but powder does a good job of portraying skiing

no I mean I don't find seeing pictures of powder that interesting compared to everything newschool. and in movies, it starts to all look the same unless you do something cool like seth or shane.

me too powder segments in movies can get boring but for pictures, i highly prefer powder over jibbing, anyways the new powder got me mor psyched to ski then freezxe did and that was what i want, throughout the year though powder mag tends to get lame

(trust me, the '' things aren't actually there)
 
THe new Powder is sad. Even if you don't compare it to any freestyle stuff, it is so boring and plain.
