Awful season in Revy this winter.

Damn awful season in Revy. Our typical 4-5 year dry cycle. Bad as 2014/2015 & 2009/2010... Had a ton of snow until mid Jan. Nothing consistent and significant since then aside from a few rare random days of snow over a 2+ month stretch. Went from cold and dry to warm and dry. Nothing in the 14 day forecast aside from a little bit on Tues with high freezing levels.

Crazy spring / season ending conditions up there over the past week, melting quick. Grass, stumps, logs and rocks are becoming abundant in the alpine. I don't see us staying open until April 21st.

This is such a sad thread.

But yeah I stopped by at the end of feb and it was painfully tracked out in all my usual stashes including all the side country. Hadn’t snowed in weeks. Hopefully next year is more like others have been!

Vancouver locals were hit by El Niño like crazy this season. High elevation rain often until feb where it snowed for a couple weeks and now it’s melting like crazy too. Good spring shred though!
 
I just think BC interior is having a bad season this year. I was working at Silverstar and it felt like a beach multiple days. Definitely a hardpack kinda season with not enough pow. Here's to a great season next year!
