Awesome idea - updating desktop background/wallpaper service

I've come up with an awesome idea while thinking of what to set the wallpaper as on my new computer. In XP (and most likely 98/2000/OS-X and others) you can set a website as your background, and with a little configuration you can set it to full screen (right-clicking an image and choosing 'set as background' doesn't work, because that just saves the image to your hard disk and doesn't update it ever). So I got thinking - wouldn't it be awesome if newschoolers.com had a page that you could set as your background that contained an image that was updated daily or weekly, so that your wallpeper is always something new? You could even have a link in one corner to newschoolers.com so that you can just click that on your desktop instead of opening up your browser and then goin to NS. Members could send in images and have them approved for rotation in the service, maybe including their name in one corner. There could even be sections like park, big mountain, scenic, or a mix of all images.

I really think that this would be a great idea for NS - what do you guys think?

even cooler would be if u could make ur whole background newschoolers.com....like the working site just as if u were on the net...thatd be sick

In XP: right-click on your desktop then go to Properties to open the Display Settings. Click the Dektop tab and go to Customise Display. Click the Web tab then click New and enter the site's URL. Click OK then OK again to exit the windows. The site should appear as a small rectangle by default. Click in the top-left corner and choose 'Cover desktop' to make it full screen.

if anyone wants a NS wallpaper, i made one a while ago..... this is a compressed version:

NS%20Wallpaper%20512x384.jpg'

if you want the fullscreen, 1074x768 version, check my site: N2S Media under media.
