the general unspoken rule on NS is if you find it...leave it, because someone who looks all the time might have found it and wants to bid and get em cheap opposed to someone seeing a link on NS for them and they just snatch em up. It should be if you find em you get em, not who has the most money in there bank
 
Yeah its pretty much a fact that if you post an item to interest to the majority of people on a board youre inflating the price of the auction, and therefore screwing over whatever deal there was in the firstplace.
 
Buy it now deals shouldn't be posted unless they are close to ending, and losing the possibility for the good deal. There is roughly 5 days left on that auction though.
 
YES! if people are needing new skis they should be searching all over the place, not just getting idea's from some site and then screwing over someone else who thought he had it won

There is actually an unwritten (or in some places written) rule that you don't post ebay auctions on a website unless they're your ebay auctions (ie: you're selling stuff and you want people to check it out). That's pretty universal.
