ya I know there is probably a bunch of these threads floating around somewhere but I am much to lazy to go searching for them now! I had the priviledge to go to the Less Than Jake/New Found Glory/Good Charlotte concert last ngiht and holy shit was it awesome!!

Just wondering if anyone has been to any awesome shows lately and if so who and how well did it rock!?!?

thats why there was 200 people there

and now they play to like at least 1500-2000 pep a show

and are at shows like warped tour and edgefest and shit

The only actual concert I've ever been to was Big Wreck. It was amazing. They played a tripple encore, and everything was just a shit load of fun.

um yea small venue means small crowd...and yes they have gone very mainstream now but that doesnt mean 2 yrs ago(actually less)they were unheard of!

ladies and gentelmen i was the first person to ever hear nfg, all of which that enjoy their music should bow to me for if it were not for i, none of which would know of them.

small venue = small crowd = not big enough yet to play big venue.

i thought this was commen sense, but evidentally not.

and yes they have become mainstreem, which means they have become popular, which means more people listen to them compared to 'back in the day' that is what was meant by the statement, but of course it was hacked to shit by someone who knows all about all.

they have no stage presence, but are my favorite band of all time. ive seen them 3 times

weezer is SOOO good..saw them at Copps and the Amphitheatre last year..they are soo good..saves the day and dashboard werent too bad playing with them either

last good show i went to was bouncing souls and anti-flag. for the encore both bands were on the stage playing thats youth, good times.

 
weezer at mars' cheese castle in kenosha wi haha fun fun fun, but my all time favorite show was either Lucky Boys Confusion at the metro in Chicago or Lynyrd Sknynrd at Country Thunder.

last couple of Big Haas concerts were very sick

seward, was that the Matt Good concert in hamilton on the 12th? I was there if so. Pretty damn sweet.

As for the best show, I'm pulling for Leftover Crack at Tudor Lounge, small ass bar in Buffalo. It was nuts.

i went to a weird al concert that was pretty sweet. There were some people dancing and a security guard said 'Looks like we got a mosh pit' and went to break them up. It was funny.

im ashamed to say i've only been to 1 concert... Limp Bizkit and Cyprus Hill ( Back to the Basics Tour). it was pretty sick though

the last show i went to that was really good was a Planet Smashers show, they had some shitty french ska band opening, but they also had Mad Society Bombers opening also, and they are such a sick ska band, then the best one before that was Planet Smashers and Mustard Plug, and before that it was Reel Big Fish.

there was a show with Catch 22/Bombshell Rocks/Ten Foot Pole/and some other band that was really good that i cant remember right now, and it go cancelled, that pissed me off so much

 
Lucky boys confusion rocks, probably one of those bands I'll rarely get a chance to ever see.

Boy sets fire fucking rocks, so does Brand New, Thursday is good in concert. Less than Jake is also really good live. Sadly I saw good charlotte before they were known at warped tour 2 or 3 years ago and they kicked ass... oh well. Saves the day isn't too bad live. No use for a name is decent. Dashboard was really good live. I'd have to say Boy sets Fire and Brand new are my favorite to see.

Everclear was the last show i went to and they were great. any 'punk' show is good. i have seen some hair metal bands and they are fun ass shows to go to, they are cheap and a lot more young people show up than you would think.Red Hot Chili Peppers put on an amazing show as well so high energy its awesome

THE BEST show i have ever been to was by far....

AEROSMITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

call them old or whatever but they know how to put on an amazing show

The Used and Finch show is supposed to be amazing... Swollen Memebers are awesome live I saw them play at both the Toronto and ottawa snojams!! Drop Kick Murphys are really good too! this is gonna sound totally cheesy but my family is a HUGE fan of Jimmy Buffett and he does AWESOMELY amazing shows!!

its all about less known bands that are way more talented then most mainstream bands...for instance, i went to a hopesfall show, they have incredible musical talent, and they are an amazing hardcore band...they could outplay and mainstream 'punk band' any day, thats why theyre my favourites...anyhow, snapcase and hopesfall played together...it was insane...best show ive ever been to by far...until the juliana theory showed up...

the best concerts i have been in was the our lady peace/tragically hip/buck 65/crush concert last summer at halifax. Second is the madly underrated edgefest, which had s. members, mat good, buck 65, sloan(wo suck in concert), and a fuckload more, back in october.

Yeah i saw Goldfinger too they were crazy. Would go see Less Than Jake/NFG/ Good Char but i dont like Good Char....my friend is going to see Atmosphere and CKY..so jelouse

i was front row centre at a roots show in a small venue in toronto, it was the sickest convert ever. Iv seen foo, CKY twice, and im going to see phish in august.... pretty diverse tastes eh?
