So I just upgraded the fuck out of my computer and can finally run COD4 on the highest graphic settings smoothely. Now I want to find more games that require state of the art computers to run. Any recommendations? I'm planning on borrowing Bioshock from my friend. Oh and no RPG's or RTS games. Thanks!

There are way too many ways to do everything, its kinda like Oblivion with guns. (but nothing can touch the open-ness of Oblivion)

Unlike most modern FPS games out there, you buy Crysis for the single player. The MP in Crysis is really not that good because they dull down the amazing graphics and the overall gameplay just isnt fun. This isnt a problem really, because you have COD4 to satisfy the need to shoot people over the internet.

Battlefield 2 is the sickest FPS out there. It's been out for years and is still amazing. It's also only like 20 bucks now. Get that and like half life or bioshock if you can.

dudeee

SUPREME COMMANDER!!! best rts in awhile even though you dont want it

FAR CRY 2, that game's going to be epic

Fallout 3

Left 4 Dead

Devil May Cry 4

Unreal Tournament 3

half life 2

Black and white 2

Portal

I liked that game before I had a good computer, because it was all my shitty computer could handle. Once I had the muscle to play the better games, that game just is not very fun anymore.

Ok I just got Crysis and let me say one thing...

IT'S FUCKING AWESOME!!!! I'm running it on really high graphics and its fucking insane!

How much money did you spend on your computer? I've wanted to get a PC that can run Crysis, but the cheapest computer I could build that could run it would be about $750.

Uh well I just bought the pieces from a computer store and assembled it myself and came out to about $640. I'll put everything I have together here:

570GB worth of hard disk space - $90 (forgot the price of both hard drives)

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor - $134

Corsair VX550W Power Supply - $91

Asus M3N78-VM Motherboard - $104

2x DDR2 2GB memory sticks - $45 each

Asus EN9600GT Video Card - $139

That covers pretty much every component inside the computer aside from disk drives but anyways that's my setup

Oh yeah DON'T BUY FROM FUTURE SHOP OR BEST BUY never never never ever ever. Everything is so stupidly overpriced. Find a small computer shop that has a pile of nerds in it and you will save a retarded amount of money

Where did you get your parts from?

Team Fortress 2 is an amzing game to play and the visuals are epic on high. its like a Pixar movie with explosions and death and awesomeness.

not really. if you're buying a whole package with keyboard, printer, monitor, futureshop and best buy are way cheaper than a lot of small computer stores. you can get a whole package at futureshop for the price of a single computer with similar hardware at a small computer store. but the power supplies they put in futureshop computers are like 350W so if you want to put in a graphics card, its garbage.

Yeah that's if your looking for a soccer mom desktop setup. But if you're just buying parts like he wanted go to a computer store everything is way cheaper. My old 430W power supply couldn't power my new motherboard and my old video card. I wasn't planning on getting a new video card because the motherboard I got has a video card integrated in it. But when I bought a new power supply I just said fuck it and bought a video card as well and I don't regret making that decision lol.

And Ryno I got my parts from PC Cyber

Awesome. Thanks for the response. And yeah I know not to buy from Best Buy. Everything they have for computers is incredibly overpriced. I usually look for stuff at www.newegg.com
