So fucking huge avy the other day on blackcomb on the left side of Glacier chair. The Day before I was skiing that same slope all day to get down to this snowcave with a water fall in it we found. Tho I did make a point of saying to one of my friends to "becareful this looks perfect for a spring time avy" and funny enough she responded with "I think it's to packed to slide" . Thank god it broke after the hill was closed and IM pretty sure no one got caught up in it. Yesterday all the alpine was closed and I think it was today (didnt go up cuz it was raining) becasue of it.

Anyways thats my little news report on the situation, peace
 
We took a video of the aftermath, but now pics before. If I have some spare time maybe I can use my buds comp to get a pic or post a vid clip of it
 
i was just in whistler this past week. a lot of the snow was pretty unstable. i think it was thursday, or maybe friday (?) a good portion of 7th slid and they had it closed all afternoon. good thing we skied it in the morning and got out of there, cause the slide was huge.
