would you recommend going here? im about 2 hours away from avila and 2 hours away from tremblant. but i wont be abe to ski tremblant all the time. pretty expensive. just need some help

Right avila is closed.

The oppening day is december 17 and the park won't be setted.

Don't know what is your type of skiing but the only reason why i ride there is the park.

It's a cool place but compared to tremblant it sucks.

i know its closed i meant throughout the season ill be mking various trips into quebec. im from ontario so all i ride is park.

Yeah they have some cool features.

This year the park is sponsored by Rockstar so it should be even better.

Go check it out you'll like it.

If all you ride is park, you will have tons of fun. But if you are there for the groomers, you will ski on ice, there is way too many gaper scrapping their way down the hill. You will need a park pass to get in the park, which is like 10$. But get ready to go in a park full of riders during the week-end..

Avila has a really nice park, try to go there on a week day, and not during the christmas break cause it's Vietnam, but definitly a great park as you can see on the coors light challenge videos. And btw, the park pass is 20 $ and the lift ticket is around 35-40 $ for a day, but if you're only looking for a nice park, it worth it.

saint sauveur is related with avila , so the saint sau park is actually avila ... saint sau sucks balls , bunch of people , icy runs , no park

yeah the most important thing is to hit it on Weekdaysotherwise it`s way too much crowed.
if it`s worth the 2 h drive? I would say yes but only on weekdays(especially monday tuesday wenesday where there is less people)The more you get in the weekend the less it ison Wenesday night it used to have some nice Jams but I don`t know if it still happens.

Avila: Smaller then Tremblant obviously, but that park is pretty dope. Especially the rails, their was not one that I don't like there. The jumps I find the landings flat, but maybe that is just me. I was there on a sunday and it wasn't that busy. Probably saturdays and worse and during holidays. If you only want to ski park then this is probably place to go.

If you want to do actaul skiing then go to Tremblant, but I agree the price is steep, but a student pass 16-29 is only $299 so that is an option for you. I think that is 4 times if you are over 17 to pay it off. Here is the link buy before Jan 3rd and you get $299. http://www.tremblant.ca/tickets/ski-pass/student-pass/index-e.htm There is the link.

At tremblant you get the southpark which has a nice jump line of 3-4 jumps. Probably an assortment of 30+ rails/boxes throughout the whole mountain. Plus the skiing. If you ever come here I know some good tree stashes that I could take you on.
