Avid or Final Cut?

fcp is easyer than avid. avid is still considered to be a more profeshional program, but fcp is catching up. I hate fcp because it forces you to work on overpriced macs. Like the piece of shit powerbook i'm typing on right now.

My weiner is probably harder than yours.
 
Are you talking "an avid" or with avid programs for pc or mac? There's quite a difference between the two.

I personally prefer FCP over the avid programs. I don't have a lot of experience with Avid's programs though.

I like my Macs but they are definitely more expensive than a PC. I like the OS better and they just look better.

 
uh considering FCP doesnt run on PC you dont have that option if your running a pc. But I've used both and I just dont like Avids setup as much and it also didnt run as smoothly, including renering and all that. Id say:

PC: Adobe Premier Pr o 1.5 or 7.0

Mac: FCP HD

Does anyone know why Avid's are still the preferred system for editing? The reasons are pretty stupid.
