Kinda hard to study a snow pack in the city. Theyve got plenty at Whis...you should cruise up the 99 and check it out.

canada west mountain school (google it for the website) does avie courses on Mt seymour. Otherwise, Whistler guides does it in Whistler, I did mine ther and it was really awesome.

Yeah My friend did the avi course at Whistler and said it was primo.

You mentionned UBC, the varsity outdoor club might have some too, but most likely with one of the aforementionned companies.

Whistler Guides does a good one as stated. there should definitely be a few in the city though
