This is infinitely more dangerous than skydiving, but no one looks twice when I leave on the GSXR yet tells me daily I'm gonna die in the air.
 
45 seconds..? unlikely. I mean, it's one of the few races that exist where people regularly die, but laps are like 10 minutes+ if I remember correctly... so 45 seconds is a tad ridiculous lol. Definately an amazing race though.. one of the last real touring races on earth

reminds me of a 150 mph rally save on isle of man...the co driver didnt even skip a beat

how is that guy from the first crash they showed doing? they showed the clip twice. he was the one who flipped off that drop and down the hill....
 
no way he could have survived, it looks like he smashed into that stone wall that runs perpendicular to the road..I would think your body would turn into mush after that much trauma at that high of a speed

granted the sheer weight of his testicles dragging on the ground caused the accident, so I wouldnt be surprised if this guy survived
 
Nope- the guy that hit the wall broke a bunch of shit but hes back racing
the TT is extremely dangerous- but amazing to watch
 
Neither one of those guys died, youtube has a vid of the first guy in hospital talking about his crash and the vid info says no-one died on the video.. Those guys were lucky...
 
ahhhh riding a sport bike is the closest thing to skiing i can think of....the thing is it looks slow on film...when you're on top of one of those things its twice as fast.
 
i love racing thats awesome but at the same time just down right stupid. yes when you put on a helmet and a fire suit you know what you are getting into is dangerous but really you dont need to have a 50/50 chance of dying.

props to these guys but they have to be missing like a part of their brain or something!
 
thats really awesome. I would kill to drive a crotch rocket on that country road that they were driving on.
 
people complain that indy cars are unsafe after whelden died. fuck that shit looks completely safe compared to this. bad ass none the less.

Mine sure as shit lets me know every time she talks to me how dangerous a motorcycle is.
 
My mother actually suggested I get one instead of a car in high school, to save gas haha. I had to tell her insurance would ruin me as a 16 year old.
