Avalanche death on yellow mountain

just read this in the bozeman chronicle this morning. yellow mountain is the one right behind lone mounetain ranch, for those of you who know the big sky area. the guy was two turns into a chute on the south face, triggered a slide, and was carried more than a 1000 feet down the gully. official cause of death: multiple blunt force trauma. avalanche danger was "considerable." rest in peace, bro.
 
All these avalanche deaths are starting to get old. I guess on a positive note he at least died with his boots on skiing a sweet line. However, it's frustrating that a snowmobiler riding in a closed area without a beacon survived an avalanche, and somebody who actually knew what they were doing died a few days later.
