Avalanche at the Canyons

'I feel sorry for the people that decided it was a great idea to ski one of the most dangerous areas in the wasatch without a beacon...Im really sorry they arent in the gene pool to contribute to it anymore....seriously'

That area of the outside of the boundries of the Canyons gets skied everyday. Many maggots confirm this, and admit they have sometimes taken for granted dropping in there without double checking things. But that area is nto the most dangerous in the Wasatch range. Far from it.

It is a sad event. A very sad event that happened. Unfortunately instead of trying to be positive about this horrible event, you instead belittle everyone to try and prop your own ego up.

You have no knowledge to pass on to educate anyone to help keep them safe. You just spew BS. You call everyone park rats yet you carry a jibbing name. Heh ;p

And I'm tired of everyone doing there best to try and make you STFU and see the light. But sadly you never will, unless you become humble very quickly. And frankly I do not see that happening. I pray you stay safe. I pray harder for those that you get sucked into skiing with you. Because my gut tells me you put them in danger.

I agree with snowgirl, show a little respect. And dpsin7x I have some really good advice for you, I think you should buy some ad space on here and your name would be up 24/7 on the right side of this site and you could be such the man and no longer have to look like an idiot.

On the news today, it said that the snow was 30 ft deep at the bottom of avalance. It also said they got a body of a 20 yr old man from montana, it said snowboarder, but they could have gotten confused.

God damn, one of my good friends is down in PC right now and he is from Montana as well as he just turned 20 this summer. He is a skier, but definately is dressed like a snowboarder. I tried calling him and his parents, but no answer.... He is a pretty smart skier, but u never know what can happen.

The place where the canyons avalanched is where I like to ski the most. It kind of scares me even though I know they were stupid for skiing there at that time in the year.
