Automatic 109 vs 102

Looking to add either one of the skis. Just looking for some basic insight into both. My main concern with concern with 109 is hard snow performance (I get this is not the intended use). For the 102 my concern is how well it performs in fresh snow versus the 109, and is the hard snow performance worth the trade off.

To add some background I am going to be using the skis up in Jackson this winter for a couple weeks. I will be skiing inbounds the whole time.

Where are you from?

If you're skiing solely Jackson hole then I'd get the 109. But if you could get more use out of the the 102, maybe go that way.

My daily driver is a 106, so personally I'd go 109 either way.

Also you should look into the new backlands (updated automatics). They're a bit more pricey since they're new but heard they're tons of fun. I really want to get on a pair of backland 117/109s
