Marketing bullshit. none of the geeky names that companies come up with actually do anything. look at the new armada skiis, and world cup race skiis. simple sandwich construction is what works.

as for what it is just look up on their site i know it's there, i've seen it before

and for marketing ranting: dynastar's sometimes really full of it, especially if u know nothing about skis. like in '98 they had that whole Look/Lange/Dynastar system that they said was just awesssome and they had these like 30 min. shows on why shaped skis were so good even though i mean, even in '98 who bought straight skis?

 
dude, it makes you more rad than anyone else that doesn't sport it. My skis got fucking laser beams shooting out, that's why i am so good.

Isnt the autodrive system on the dynastar speed and skicross's? I think it is...its a powerflex system that gives more spring in and out of turns

 
it helps eliminate the flat spot that naturaly occurs under the boot, which helps the ski felx better in turn it skis like butter and the traditional side wall from the upper wasit down is dope espc when skiiin hard pack, dynastar autodrive is fuckin sick

Yeah dynastar is notorious for hyping up features that are very common with other ski companies. THey used to advertise 'pintail technology' as being exclusive to dynastar and that their shapes were unlike any others..well guess what, all skis were that shape and still are. As for autodrive, its concerning the round tips on the high end skis. With the rounded profile it gives you more effective edge and a quicker turn iniation. It feels like the turn is iniated for you without any effort. Look at the ski wall now and pretty much every company has some sort of round tip. This was something that was adapted from ski racing. About 4 years ago dynastar came out with the prototype and the same shape was manufactured for the rossignol world cup athlete, all rossis on WC were actually dynastars..Head and salomon did the same thing the next year.

 
Basically it helps the ski flex better so you can carve a better turn... Rossi does it too with Power Propulsion... But it does not do that much, if yuo don't know how to ski or carve right or if your not a extreme speedster it will do fuck all.

Also depends what type of ski, race, carve, twin-tip etc...
