is there any chance of an auto logon thing for the site for lazy people like me who cant be bothered typing in their usernames and passwords everytime

 
I think he wants it to go further than that. For the site to recognize your computer and automatically let you in. Like Gmail does with the saved cookies.

i set firefox to delete my cookies every time i turn it off, so i wouldn't do me any good...

cookies can be handy, but they are also the children of the underworld

i have that thing where it saves into the browser but ive got about 5 with screwed up/old passwords and logons, so it gets a bit annoying, i mean like u chek a box saying member username and password and when u go to the site on the same computer it takes u straight to the news section
