what is cool to do around sydney/newcastle? my parents want to go for three weeks. around november 18th. what will the weather be like? any suggestions on the clothing i should wear? and also, my family is into the whole adventure/wilderness thing. so whats cool to do around there. we have 3 weeks so we could prolly travel around alot too.

thanks in advance.

Id suggest taking a night tirp to red fern in sydney with an expensive video camera (one that will get really good pictures and video) and trying to catch a glimpse of the rare australian aboriginal. Make sure to walk down ever dim light alley way becuase that is where the usually hide.

Other things I suggest, go to bondi and surf, go to manley and surf, go to the blue mountains for a trek. take a jet boat ride in the sydney harbour. walk to the top of the sydney harbour bridge. Dee Why, Narrabeen, Cronulla also are sick breaks and fun places to surf. Oh and the sydney aquarium is pretty cool as well. If ya got three weeks though, rent a car and jet up the east coast. sydney only takes a 3 or 4 days to see it all. Check out Oz experience when you get there or just look it up on google. They offer really good 3 day to week long hiking packages into the mountains. Hit up byron bay, collongatta and other surf towns up the east coast. oh and dont forget to take your parents for a day trip to Nimbin. great town, great culture.

If you really want a a quick and easy way to see it all. Stay in sydney and area for a half a week and then get on a plane and fly to brisbane. tickets are like 70 bucks. then rent a car, hit up surfers, byron, the water parks, and if you want a sweet place to relax, check out noosa heads. I love that place. If you want to do alot of adventurous stuff. check out peterpans when you get to oz. they offer alot of packages to go hang gliding over byron, white water rafting, sailing trips, 4X4ing on fraiser island. scuba or whatever. plus they clump it all together for you with dates and stuff so you can make sure you can do it all over your three weeks. My buddies did the entire gold coast in three weeks and saw it all. I spent 10 months but I lived most places.

by the way dont actually go to red fern. its a super dodgy neighbourhood full of cracked out aboriginals. also make sure you do take your parents to nimbin if your in that area. Australias version of Amsterdam.

wow you know sydney real good

go climb the bridge if you can, i dont remember much cause i moved from there to ny wen i was 10

by far a much better reply then mine. It doesnt matter how old you are there are hot girls fucking everywhere. Go to the beach and honestly talk to whoever. I think I only met a handful of aussie girls who were bitches, the rest were so fucken nice and ready to show ya what you came for. If you cant find an aussie just find a british bimbo, all you gotta do is say hi and you get em in the sack.

i went there this november. it was awesome. i suggest the botanical gardens. i love them. i also suggest a day or couple of days to the blue mountains ( i found i didnt have enough time there in one day )......i also went to port stevens ( its like 2-3 hours north of sydney) and rented a little fishing boat to see dolphins, that was awesome and way better than going on the big dolphin boat. there are some pretty cool hikes there too, and i saw a red bellied black snake, which ruled. um.....i would definatly suggest flying up to queensland...i went to cairns, and saw the daintree national park, which is amazingly gorgeous! ancient rainforest, and you might encounter a cassowary in the wild, i did. it was frightening. from cairns you should definatly do a day trip to the great barrier reef, there are many boats to choose from to do that.

i stayed in manly for 2 weeks, and then did a week in cairns doing all different tours. manlys a pretty awesome place for surfing i was told. i didnt get a chance to see any enormous waves when i was there though. i did find possums on a walk by a garbage can, so i went and petted them, well just the baby one, i think it liked being petted.

yeh yeh North Narrabeen represent... New castle has sick surf breaks too. go party there you will meet mad hot girls, also go check out nimbin on the way up to surfers and/byron.. I live in Byron bay sometimes there are more girls here than you can poke a stick at.. if you wanna know where to party send me a message
