Auric pro worth it?..

Ok, We all know POC as a good brand for the sponsored skier, but unless you buy used, and even if you buy used the price may be very high. The retail on the auric pro is $200.00 USD. So is it worth the money?

If you know you're going to be taking a couple crashes, spend as much money on a helmet as you want. You can't put a price on saving your dome.

In my experience (work at a shop selling lots of helmets from lots of brands) The POC helmets don't seem to be anything special. I think they have the best racing helmets, but other than that, their construction and design is comparable to helmets from many other manufacturers.

With that said, if you like the fit, feel, and looks and have the cash, go for it. I doubt you will regret it.
