You're right, they're not Rage, and they're not trying to be. They're Audioslave now. Rage is dead, get over it, and enjoy Audioslave cuz teh yare still a very tight band. If I hear people dissingthem cuz they arent as good as Rage, I think its ridiculous! I dont hear people dissing Sublime, or Pennywise, or any other band beacause they dont sound like Rage does.
I was a little scepticle of Cornell's ability to pull somethying liek this off, but you have to come in with a 'no expectation' view and just groove to the sound.
