so my speakers sound like shit... i gotta replace them or check my amp for damage...

where is the amp located in my 99 audi a4?

 
I know in some series in located in the rear speaker house. A friend of mine had a 98 and thats where it was...
 
Do you have a bose system? If you have a bose then the mini amp is located in the trunk if you don't then I'm not sure if you have an Amp, if you r speakers sound like shit I'd check them to see if you've blown them or not.
 
yeah thats where it should be, is everything in it stock system wise? i know i had to check the connections in my aftermarket system when my speakers started to sound like shit, i changed all the connections up and it sounds mint now. if you constantly have the volume turned up real loud you might want to check and make sure you didnt blow the amp too cuz ive had that problem, speakers that are supposed to be amped sounds like shit when they arent
 
yea i dont have the bose system... just the stock one

im replacing all the speaker and utting a sub in the trunk
