ATTN: Skiers of Berkshire East ! ! ! ! !

Hey guys, my name is Patrick and I'm one of the terrain park/lift ops supervisors at Berkshire East

I know we had some good feedback about the parks last year and some bad feedback, but the fact of the matters is that it was a shitty season and we couldn't get much done due to lack of snow.

This year the mtn hasn't given the parks hardly any budget, and we have tons of features that need attention before we can put them up on the hill (grinding down rust, replacing siding, replacing topsheets, etc)

From what I've noticed; the mountain will only change things when paying customers complain. They will blow it off until we actually receive complaints then they'll put it to the top of the priority list.

WHAT I NEED YOU TO DO:

I'm hoping that if the mountain gets enough emails and phonecalls about the parks, they'll broaden our budget and we'll have a baller park this season! I can only ask for so much from the owners, but it will be YOU who makes the difference this season!

So please either contact berkshire here, call them at 413-339-6617, or email info@berkshireeast.com

Tell your mom, tell your dad, tell your friends, your brother, your sister, your cousin, make everybody contact berkshire east so they will get the idea that we want our parks bigger and better this year! Just mention what you thought of the parks last year, and what will happen if they don't step it up.

I'm creating this thread out of the goodness of my heart, because i KNOW that our younger clientele wants to have the most rails and jumps on the hill as possible. If you could just drop a line to berkshire it would make all our lives a happier place this winter. The projected opening date is DEC 7, so do this ASAP!

Pray for snow,

Patrick

Dam Straight we do. They should make the whole trail under the far right lift all park. Might try to volunteer as park staff so shit gets done there.

Roy is such a stingy old fuck and the park at Berkshire East has always been literally a joke. I got my pass pulled for doing a punch-front off the shitty icy lump they called a jump on Exibition. Good luck to you, I really hope you can make the park somewhat decent this year.

Haha I never got in trouble for throwning fronts, but most if the people that work there have sticks up their asses

if you mean the one that's right in the middle of exhibition, its actually a rock! haha

but still, roy is a stingy bastard. HELP US MAKE THE PARKS AWESOME THIS YEAR! SEND EMAILS AND MAKE PHONECALLS ON HOW THE PARKS WILL AFFECT YOUR DECISION TO BUY A PASS OR DAY TICKETS!

really? i dont ski here but i was on my way back from looking at colleges in vermont and i was there yesterday. i tried my first frontflip in like 2 years (ate shit) and a liftie who saw it was super chill about it and seemed pretty stoked about what was going n in the park. One patroller also showed my dad and I where some of the best tree skiing on the mountain was. Thats the only time i've been there but from my interactions, everybody seemed pretty down to earth

I'll be there tomorrow from 3ish to 7ish!

Unless pat changed it again there is a flat down flat, about a one foot jump, a spine with a corrugated and cannon box over it, barrel to flatbox and a down rail, well it's more flat than down

fdf rail, small jump, fd box, d rail

one of the night the groomers broke our wall ride the other day, crumpling it slightly when trying to move it

WE REALLY NEED YOU GUYS TO TALK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TELL THEM YOU WANT MORE PARK!!

Good start on the mini park I guess, only thing I will say is that toward the bottom end it was so flat I couldnt get enough speed to hit that last rail.

Also you should get going on the other park(s), its already mid-january yo!

One more thing, I think maybe one reason that the parks are always so shitty is the fact that Roy doesnt want to pay the liability insurance in order to have bigger parks with bigger features. I will send an email right now asking for MOAR PARK.
