lol... no. The difficulty of her tricks is objectively worse. The features she hit were objectively easier. And her "flavor" aka style is an obvious homage to Henrik's. Who are you tryin to convince here dude? Are you really gonna try and make disingenuous arguments about "flavor" and not just acknowledge that she's getting a ton of likes because she's a girl. I'm fine with her getting some love, but that totally flies in the face of this narrative that Newschoolers is just a bunch of misogynist woman-haters. I'm just saying let's acknowledge what's actually happening here because it's a great example of why some particularly vocal members on here are wrong.

Honestly I'm not sure. Either something is broken or there's a weird formula for adding up votes. Eheaths explaination doesn't make sense, if you scroll through the thread there are a good number of down votes but not 1500 down votes.
 
I think the people who feel the need to shout something like this from the rooftops are usually doing it to compensate for having done something bad. Like when cops publicly announce they're cracking down on sexual trafficking and then the chief get caught trying to meet a 13 y/old at a gas station at 10pm. Or when the local pastor preaches the evils of homosexuality to high hell and then it turns out he's been touching boys for years.

I don't disagree with the original sentiment, but the way op speaks makes me feel he has something to hide.

I find it hilarious how the USA women's soccer team demands "equal pay" despite losing to a 15 year old boys team.

These women don't understand simple economics. Men get paid these absurdly high amounts because they bring in absurdly high revenue. Women bring in absurdly low amounts of fans with absurdly low revenue. They still make more than most women working a 9-5 job. What a joke.

"I play a sport for a living and I deserve more money". I sit at a desk all day and crunch numbers. I'd rather get paid less money to play a sport than I get paid now. People are such greedy pigs.

I think there's a great opportunity for women to create content that's not in the same lane as what the boys are doing. Appeal to a different market segment so we don't have to keep competing against what the guys are throwing down and then getting upset because we aren't as good at it. Definition of insanity.

Lots of opportunity out there for ladies just have to think outside the box.

I'm on board with the general premise of the thread, don't be an unnecessary dickhead to people, in general, will improve your life and the lives of those around you. Thankfully the general ns cesspool not anywhere as bad as it used to be, and best thing to do is lead by example and just be a good person and call out the bad. Simple.

There's got to be some algorithm on the back end for how this works, I feel like it gets tweaked over time, but possibly there's some sort of waiting where a down vote means more than an up vote I don't know.

Yup. The righteousness seems to be rooted in american feminism/liberalism. I wouldnt even bother having any dislike of feminists if it werent for them saying “woman work just as hard at their sport as men do therefore they deserve equal pay!!” Its ridiculous. Handicapped athletes work just as hard too.

A bit dodgy here and a bit lipstick on a pig. The world isnt going to function if leftists keep acting like God created a reality that would never hurt anybodys feelings. Thats the crux of it imo. Americans have to put pillows all over everything. Mcdonalds coffee has a big sign on it that says “caution! Coffee is hot!” As if we need to protect the people who would pour it on themselves if they didnt see the sign. Same goes for putting pillows over reality so the sharp edges of reality cant hurt anybodys feelings or pop any balloons.

This attitude loses its rationality when you consider how pompous and spoiled many americans are. Many many americans need to have their huge entitled egos chopped down to size. Not just the girls who murder an uber driver then ask for their cellphones (presumably) so they can tweet about their first car jacking. Its all sorts of americans. Many of them work in the government and hate germany, just like the transvestite homosexual j edgar hoover, the highly esteemed and quintessential deep state piece of fucking shit.

I think american kids in general are raised in a way that engenders a feeling that nobody has a right to say anything that hurts their feelings.

reality can be harsh. But when everybody is on the same page of reality the society becomes much more efficient, and the more efficient a society is, the higher quality of life gets extended to the most ppl.

I guess you could say the kind of american kids who think “how dare trump say the things he says” are incredibly spoiled and overly sheltered from reality.

as far as this thread goes, i would say that the fact liz swaney actually exists shows that there is something wrong with the cultural way female americans are raised.

there is no such thing as a liz swaney of the mens competitions. If there was, i would be the first person to admit there was a problem with the way we are raising males in america.

both boys and girls cultures in america are problematic in my opinion, but to me its clear that feminism at some point in the past cornered the market on innocence and has yet to let go of it.

You see the righteousness of the female perspective all over the left:

-all sex is rape by the male

- everybody on the left saying we have “toxic masculinity” that we need to address

-ergo, natural boys behavior is degenerate

-ergo, natural female behavior is noble

-competitiveness is evil

also it seems the institution of marriage is a legal power/money grab to make up for the fact that on avg men tackle career life with more ambition and more competitiveness, probably due to testosterone.

if you are a faithful wife who does not leave their faithful husband, then yes, you deserve to be showered in the wealth your husband provides even if all you do is cook and drive the kids to school.

but if marriage was a ploy to grab financial assets, then no i dont believe you deserve 1,000,000 $ a yr to cook and drive the kids to school.

and yes i know many women are very driven and just as career hungry as men, but men are the breadwinners more often than women are, in pretty much every society and culture on earth.

maybe one day the rates will even out. Maybe they wont.

im just saying that the divorce settlement catastrophe that many millions of men are victims of seems to me to be a loophole to even up the wealth status between men and women in a country where men happen to be the breadwinners more often than not.

im not saying “it should be that way”

im just saying that at the moment this is what the avgs look like.

Agreed, and I agree with you that new-wave feminism is less about empowerment and more about entitlement.

If you see yourself as the victim you've got limited options, but, for those of us who are confident and capable there's more than a fair amount of opportunity for women out there, you just need to look at things with a different lens.
