It doesnt sound like skiing was derived form skateboarding.... somehow.

yeah that was sick. i dont know why so many people hate on inline. i know its a lot easier that skateboarding, but it looks so much cooler, and they go so much bigger too. i went to x games er gravity games or whatever, and the inline guys were doing like flatspin 7's and triple backflips and shit, it was crazy.

I'd hate to say it but inlining is probably the dry land equivalent to skiing. Most people think it's gay and snowboarding/skateboarding is much cooler. but still couldnt do half the shit skiers are doing. I pretty much have respect for the talent of anyone who takes shit to a very high level. Except that Pro 'Razor' scooter guy that was still gay

fuck rollerblading is so different than skiing. Its like asking someone to axle stall or kick flip on a snowboard. They are fucking skate tricks, sure they both have a board but thats about it. Same goes with rolling and skiing, they both are on two feet but are intirely different.

^^ for months to ollie onto a bench , you offically suck. Its hard to begin fruitbooting. GOing down hills is scary in a city until you get used to it. Landing is tough, locking on a rail or ledge is tough,jumping on a rail is tough with extra wait on your feet. If you miss whatever your getting on you get it bad. In skateboarding you can jump off onto your feet, with rollerblading you land and roll. Believe me don't rag on fruitbooting unless you've tried.

yes, we could spend months to ollie, or we could spend months trying to do what we started skating to do. if you could by pass the length of time it takes to learn to ollie, you know you would. the jump vs. ollie argument is the most retarted one ive ever heard.

also, on the choice of song for the trailer. yes, 'lets get it on' is a stupid song. but why do you judge all skaters because of one song? its like saying skiing is stupid cause tanners song for his section was 'i wanna be a balla'. there are all differant styles of skaters, theyre not all rap inspired, in fact, most arent (unlike skiing, where most of us put on huge pants and listen to rap). there are metal heads, punks, hip-hop skaters, hair-band fans, emo kids, everything. so judging a sport by one trailers song is friggin retarded. i just realized something. blading to skateboarding is the same as skiing to snowboarding. us and bladers go so much bigger and more tech than boarders and most people think that the boarding is soo much cooler than skiing or blading. ( ok it is when it comes to skating vs. blading) i was pretty impressed tho those guys were going HUGE and every bail was like instant death.
