Attitash/wildcat vs Cranmore

depends what skiing your trying to do.

Ive heard tash's park is pretty on point this year. Wildcat is def your best bet for some real turns especially after tuesday's storm.

Cranmore is pretty fun as well, and they will have cranarchy coming up soon which is always a fun treat.

Thanks I'm going by over all. I really like cranmores park because of the variety of features but I feel like I'm giving up sidecountry and tree skiing.

cranarchy is going to be fun. im going to wildcat tomorrow for the storm, wildcat almost always gets more snow, and has better terrain. for park wildcat is decent, but attitash has such a sick park this year. such good jumps. jumps at cranny are fine, but a lot more challenging rails compared to attitash..it really depends

road attitash's park today and it was straight money. Nice jumps and the rails are set up well so you can get creative with a variety of tricks. The only thing cranmore has is a variety of rails. I've heard their jumps suck though.

Also if you get an attitash ticket you can go to wildcat so shred the woods in the morning and ride park in the afternoon at attitash

Heres som pictures of the park from today

And the jump line

plus they have a another park with smaller stuff and a really nice barrel jib

the jump line is so incredibly fun right now, and kachina is not bad either...what were you wearing today?

Uggghhh man I hate this split decisions does Wildcats pow get skied off quickly or do you think I could still find freshies?

i am usually in a purple north face jacket and black pants. and to the other guy, you can almost always find freshies somewhere at wildcat

You would have to look pretty hard anywhere to find pow three days four days after a storm but you should be able to find some in Thompson Brooke off skiers right side. I havent skiied cranmore but from what ive heard around the valley go to cranmore from rails and attitash/wildcat for jumps and cruising or pow

Have you ever been to Mt Abram? There's no park but it holds powder for about 2 weeks after storm because no 1 skis there

Cranmore can't compete withe attitash wildcat cranmores jumps suck they get half as much snow as wildcat an rains way more there and cranmores been recently down grading there park bc they want it to b more family oriented there's no comparison

They have downgraded anything you idiot. The only mistake they've made this year was re-arranging the parks. The Darkside was the place to be, and had a much better pitch for jumps, than it does now for boardercross and rails. As far as rails go, Cranmore is the best out of the three, and the one 35' jump they have in the Directors Cut is prime.

attitashs park was really good like two weeks ago during vacation and looks even better now. and the pow is most likely gonna be gone by the weekend even at wildcat

They havnt had good jumps there in two years I live on cranmore and never go bc attitash and wildcat is so muh better all they have is rails at cranmore

Thanks every one for the opionions I think I'm probably going to cranmore cause I spent money and dont have the cash to go to attitash but there jumps are looking by far better than cranmores and there every bit as big or bigger

Fuck cranmore. The attitash/ wildcat combo is what's up, attitash's park this year was really impressive, especially compared to the park of previous years. Wildcat has debatably some of the best actual skiing around, by that I mean terrain. So much trees to ski and great shit right under the lift. Also you can buy a season pass for 400$ which goes to both mountains
