Skiied sunday morning... 2 jump line in mythmaker is soooooo good. Nice and close together with steep landings and poppy jumps. Would have loved to hit those all day
 
i had breakfast this morning with one of the guys in the crew (matt) and he didn't say anything about a re build. but there's a big air comp the 15th
 
Yeah they're rebuilding tonight. Bringing back the mini park at the base of bear, adding a teardrop rail, dfd, and other fun shittt.
 
how was it? Loon was tight as fuck! and in response to Justin, i hope they put in a dfd and not the shitty one they made outta a down box and a flat down box
 
So the park was real fun the rails were a flat or flat^ THEN a flat Barrel or FLATdown then the DOWNflat then a really large RAINBOWbox then THe slanty box thang. then some jumparooskis. then a down real!

 
Asked this on the Attitash facebook yesterday and they said they'd "try to have some info up on attitash.com events before this weekend"
 
My guess is that they will. Just because it's the end of the season and it's not like they're going to be able to make any more snow. Hopefully the big air jump is ill though!
 
im dropping an attitash edit either this week or next. My buddy and I have been filming for the majority of the season, ill post the link in this thread when i upload it to NS, 10/10 for anyone who upvotes it, im really hoping it will make the front page.
 
So I was watching an edit from like 2007 or something where richie paradise won the rail jam and got a 1000 bucks whats with that why are the comps so shitty and have like zero prizes besides the one age group where someone wins skis and the park and pipe looked sick back then
 
hahaha i feel you dude i got second in the slope and rail jam this year and won a eskimo beanie and chap stick both times. no worries doe its all for fun and the comps there are always a good time
 
Well... back in those days we were owned by American Skiing Company. They were a rad group but had no idea how to balence a budget and went really far in debt. Also, the GM was Tom Chasse, were family friends with him and he is such a good guy and hard worker. The events were promoted a lot more so a lot more people showed up

Not to mention we had a beer sponser for the events so thats where all the cash came from. But now they want to be more of a family friendly place so no more beer sponser
 
Also, Tom Chasse's son was one of the top freestyle skiers back then and placed in every event he entered. The park there used to be good, like on par with loon or WV.

it also says on their website somewhere that they got 6 new rails over the summer and did something to change the flow of skiers coming onto kachina so they wont be cutting anyone off.

Also they leveled out the pipe over the summer
