sorry if it's huge, but here is the flier for the kickoff evolution tour event that is coming up. May 17th in Downtown Ogden. if your coming from Salt Lake, it's a smooth 30 minutes from downtown, or you could ride frontrunner, the station is walking distance from the event spot. There will be an open/free session that runs around 4 hours in length, and I hear that the new setup will be really great, better then last years. I'm stoked. If you need directions or anything like that, pm me, I am super familiar with the area and event.

Am only, registration is at Decade. here is the price breakdown

100 dollars gets you event entry, AND 100 dollars worth of DNA streetwear, from Decade.

50 Dollars gets you the same entry buy in as the 100, BUT, zero clothing.

there will be a free open session before it starts.
 
I was talking to the guy who runs it and he said that they wanted to do an 18 wheeler...I doubt that happened but I am stoked to see what it is

and if its free it can't hurt..well yeah it can, thats how I broke my ribs!!

ha, either way I am excited
 
Can't do this one because I am not in town, but Ill definitely be doing a couple others. I hope the setup isn't as brutal last year... there was some really bad carnage at last years.
 
ok, so if you are in Park City, you better come to this, because I just found out there will be NO PARK CITY DATES THIS YEAR.

oh yeah.. and it's downhill snowflex landing this year..
 
quarterpipes anyone?
after you land, and "ride away", you can hit a quarter pipe at the end of the setup, and possibly stall on an extension.. (tire, or barrel etc..) the stall feature I am not positive of, but the quarter pipe is apparently going in..

I hear so many on hear complain that the season is over... if you miss this opportunity, your nuts..there is a free session remember.
 
ok, here is the schedule for the May 17th (sat) event
12:00-2:00- Open session
3:00-6:00- 1 on 1 battles.
7:00-10:00- top 8 skiers, top 8 snowboarders finals/ female and 14 and under best trick

NOTE- last year, snowboarders and skier's would face off in the finals. Not this year. Skier's and snowboarders will NEVER face each other during competition).

winners get medals, and a golden envelope.. containing an INVITE TO VEGAS for the finals at SIA next Feb.
you will want to be at Vegas.. believe me.. and it will also be the final SIA at Vegas...

don't miss this event!!!!!!!
oh yeah, the stall feature has been verified...

last year this system was carried by one trailer... this year IT'S THREE..

 
they are using the same rollers as last year, which got some complaints, but honestly, coming from someone who has done multiple real-snow-summer rail jams, Rollers are the way to go... getting snow is SUCH a headache, It couldn't be done on a full on tour..
 
...sooo if you win one of these this year, you don't win anything besides the invite to the vegas finals?

does it still cost $100 bucks to the comp?
 
thatd be lame. Honestly this comp is sick and all, but a big ol' snowflex inrun would be less sketchy than rollers. Ill do it nonetheless. Im hoping the winner still gets 500 USskrillas
 
you guys killed it! im still not to impressed with the set up this year tho... the quarter pipe at the end is wack still cool but no one hit it.. .haha oh well.
 
NO NO NO... dont get me wrong its WAY sick i cant wait for it to be at my shop... let me just say this... brad got my hopes all up high then kinda got shot down when i saw the set up this year.... last summer i was talkin to him and he told me that the set up was gunna be rollin in on a semi trailer... so thats what i was expecting... but you were killing it!
 
glad to hear some of you had fun, I thought the setup looked great, better than last years for sure, and there were some pretty crazy tricks going down.. I was stoked to see the bit that I got to catch.
 
quad kink? oohhh shit this set up sounds so sick! when's the next one in utah? i gotta be sure to make it. sounds soooo much sicker than last year.
 
It's only a triple kink. F D F D. Four sections though, I called it a quad kink the whole time I was there only to realize when I got home how much of an idiot I must have sounded
