I never thought I would have to do this.

So i bought some Moment Bibbys with sth16's from him. I have bought from him before(hellbents) and had no problems and was very satisfied.

Well I bought the Bibbys on October 4th. He hasnt been on since October 6th.

I have communicated with him through email. but he has not responded to my last 4 emails. Here is are convo.

Now i kind of trust this guy, he seems like a good guy, and like before he has hooked me up in the past.

Im looking for NS's help. If anyone knows him and can let him know im getting worried that would be awesome. I think im going to move to the paypal dispute here soon. Butif anyone knows him. can you please have him check his mail.

Also i noticed he responded from his droid, so i was thinking that he probably seen my last 4 emails.

Ya well his last callout out, was just from a kid that didnt wait long enough.

I talk to him during that callout and he resolved it quickly. And he hooked me up big time the first time i bought from him so i had no worries.

I feel like he is being lazy, but i dont understand why im not getting any responses from him.
 
yes that little kid was me..... and 17 doesnt sound so little. anyways the only reason he sent it to me was because i opened a dispute/claim like u all had told me not to do. I would jump on that shit quick. btw i knew he was sketchy the day after I sent money. Stop giving this kid excuses. and stop being such a little cockmuncher
 
good luck. it sucks to get shafted but hopefully this guy will pull through. For the most part no one on NS is a complete scammer, usually just lazy or irresponsible at times.
 
I sent paypal a email explaining my problem. If i dont get a good response i will call them, and maybe the skis will show up.

He know's you sent it as a gift, that's why he bailed on you. Good luck man but don't hold your breath. Consider it an expensive lesson learned. Your one hope is that he's into a bunch of shit with Paypal and they realize that he's scamming and that they just shut him down and cancel his transactions.
 
Well see i hoping thats not true since he has been nice to me, and i have helped him out in the past.

He is a donator on here with baller status. I just need to find somebody that know him personally and see whats up.

He is located in New Jersey and skis at jay/hunter/blue so if anyone knows him post up and help out please.
 
I bought a pair of moment reno jibs from him and I didnt have any problems, probably wouldnt deal with him again because of a few callouts and the fact that he was kind of a pain in the ass to deal with and a slight asshole, but I got my skis relatively quick.

I bet he's being lazy. And I only send money as a gift if I know the person really well or have dealt with them before (Maybe he's taking advantage of the fact that he had already built some trust with you?)

If you don't already know, his name is James Weil (according to his paypal, I dont have a phone number or anything). Maybe that will help you?

Morning bump, hopefully i can make some progress today.

Paypal pretty much told me im screwed since i sent it as a gift.

No one should miss a season becuase of a bad deal. Keep me posted I have pair of Salomon 1080s from 2005 w/ salomon bindings(cant remember model) .They are in pretty good shape only 30-40 days on them no edge crack or base damage. Planned on turning them into some beater/urbans this season. But if you are without sticks I could loan them out to you for the season if this doesn't get resolved. I would do it for free i would just want them back at the end of your season. Let me know
 
I have looked for him on facebok, there is multiple people with that name. I dont think he has a fecebook anyways.

And that offer is very generous, im hoping it comes around and he decides to send them to me.
 
Could someone try and email him, saying i dont know what. make it about something that doesnt relate, but would respond to and see if he replies so i know if he is using his email or not.

Maybe pretend to respond to a Craigslist post about a jacket or something and see if he replies. I dont know just something?
 
embraced is a scammer and an asshole, honestly should be banned..had to file a paypal claim on some brakes i bought from him. never responded to pm's once after i had sent payment. fuck 'im
 
Also if you do that, let me know so he only gets one email, i dont want him to get spammed with emails.

Another idea. What if i paid him like 5 dollars on paypal then opened a dispute to get his attention. Would that work?

That would be pretty small. Thanks for the offers of sending me skis everyone, i really appreciate it and thanks for the support and help in this shitty situation.

I have friends here that i could borrow skis from though if worst comes to worst.

i just did a deal with WILCOX on here .. and honestly it is absurd how you people don't exchange phone numbers and such.

When he said he would take my skis, I immediately gave him my full address, my Cell number, my home phone number, my current address and my home address. he didn't ask for it, i just gave it to him.

WILCOX was a nice guy and gifted it to me. I couldn't believe it. I since then have sent the skis out yesterday .. two day'd them since they have snow up there now.

If you are ever buying anything from anyone, DEMAND for their full address and phone number. try the number immediately after he gives it to you. check the address on google maps. do what you can get yourself in a safe place.

also don't gift things to people that you don't have an up on. WILCOX probably figured since I gave him all my info that I was safe to gift. It was nice cuz no paypal charge. Such a nice gesture I decided to pay the extra money for two day shipping.

NS: ONLY GIVE MONEY IN PAYPAL PAYMENT FORM AND ALL YOUR PROBLEMS ARE SOLVED.

He knows my name though and im guessing if he is trying to scam me, he wont except my friend request. If a few of you could add him and see if he excepts then ask him nicely to send me my skis. that would be awesome.
 
bro i know how you feel i bought an ipod and an ihome on here and they sent the ihome but not the ipod.. the guy isnt replyin to any messages.. im gonna make a callout its been like 3 weeeks
