Thats not true Stratton throws down big time! If there is a bigger women's field the prize money will increase. East COast open gave $1000 to womens slope winner

whoever said the VT Open course is shit could not be farther from the truth. it is the weekend after the US Open of snowboarding which they always have an absolutely sick slopestyle course for. usually they keep the jumps pretty similar, they changed it around a little last year but it was a pretty damn nice course considering its only the 2nd year of it. the vt open will eventually be huge solely because of the vibes. its such a fun weekend and everyone is just bumming around stratton for 4-5 days pissing off people, its awesome.

Anyone know when registration ends and what the course for slopestyle will be like? Because I don't want to get there and get hurt because the hits are huge..

How are people supposed to take us seriously if no one cares enough to even show up? If you're healthy, can ski, and can get by the registration fee, there's no reason why you shouldn't be here. GO REGISTER. IT TAKES ONE MINUTE.

I'd enter for sure if I was anywhere near VT.

For all the girls who are thinking about not doing it because they might lose or make a fool of themselves, please get over it (and I mean that in the nicest way possible). Regardless of how you think you are going to do, competitions are a great experience, and you'll meet so many other girls who love the same thing as you. If you never put yourself in the position for possible failure, or never try something because you might fail, you'll never know how great you can be and you'll really miss out. I guarantee that no matter how 'badly' you do, nobody is going to laugh at you unless they're stupid. No matter how many times I have made an 'idiot' out of myself in any sport, it has always been a good experience. So, if you have the means to enter, I really think you should cause you'll probably have a lot of fun.
