So I want to drive my friend and I to go ride but I can only fit one of our DH bikes inside the van with the seats taken out so I am wondering if there was any way to attach them both without dropping a ton of cash I have the bars for a roof rack on my van but no hitch. any ideas?

Really? weird but it might be because of the slack head angle or the frame size seeing as how I have a large and my friend has an XL. Or it might just be your van is longer?

I thought about this but how would you attach it to the roof like put them upside down then accross the down tube?

The front one is fine to take off but the rear one is a pain in the ass because there are like six tiny screws and you cant just take them right off you have to loosen them a bit slide it a little and repeat so it takes like 20 minutes to take it off and another 20 to put it on.

Take all wheels off put all bikes on roof handlebars and seats down, then duct tape very liberally. just try it once and feel how secure it is. then tape as much as you can for safety

If he needs to put his snowmobile on top of his vehicle, I doubt he can fit a large enough ramp in his car... Im very uneducated here though, there could be some sort of next level ramp technology i dont know about.

blanket and tie downs. Put that shiz on the roof. Put yours inside and friends up top in case something gets lost....

Friend and I fit two dh bikes and a dj bike in a minivan by taking out both back seats and putting one facing forwards and one facing back with wheels between the two front seats and the dj taken apart and stashed in the cracks

that's why you pay $150 for a rack you tool. be resourceful or drop the cash for something that somebody else made to make your life easier, it's called how the economy works.

are you suggesting that your struggle with buying a bike rack is similar to the civil rights movement? if Rosa Parks had moved to the back, black people could possibly still be oppressed today but it isn't very likely. someone else would have started the civil rights movement. a movement only needs one action to start it, and I'll bet you anything that Rosa Parks wasn't the first black bitch to refuse to give up her seat on a bus.

If OP has a true DH bike it will be the biggest pain in the ass to get up any hill, or just go long distances in general
