ATT all ski bunnys, im moving to SLC

So for the first time in my years of skiing I will be leaving the East Coast. Myself and four other friends from maine have a ballin ass house in Sandy. Im trying to mabey meet some skiers/ girls on NS that would perhaps rage wit us when we get out therr'. Also i was wondering about the SLC night life, clubs, bars, and anything cool to do in the city. and if anyones knows of a chill partime job, hollar at me.
 
correction: ballin ass house in Cwood Heights right near the 7-11 and the mouth of Big Cottonwood, partyin all year long, get your ass out here cgroves!
 
Depends on how you look at it. The quality of girls out here is superb look-wise, but lifestyle-wise its a little trickier. I still prefer the girls here over anywhere else.
 
PHEW!! Finally some cool guys moving to SLC what a relief. usually you go to all these parties and there are like 100 girls and one dude. such a bummer.... OH WAIT... THERE ARE LIKE 1,000 DUDES ALL MACKING ON THE SAME 3 GIRLS.... good luck with the slc sausage fests boys.
 
im more conserned about nightlife and meeting people to ride with. but im moving across the country like im not gonna hollar at the girls on NS. I mean i coulda used myspace but that shits to easy.
 
Once you make friends and get into the skiing loop ehre, there's always house parties. bars and clubs are whack as AIDS here. Very few girls as well. It's unlikley anyone will want to drive all the way to cottonwood heights to party, you will most likely be driving into the downtown and sugarhouse areas to party.
 
i didnt ask for your opinion on smoking, i asked how much a pack of cigs costs in SLC. get off your soapbox, go to the gas station, and report back.

i'm stocked up on tampons, and i was kidding about the soapbox thing as well. faking indignancy is hard on the internet. i was serious about the price of a pack of cigs though.
 
that pretty much sums it up. everyone in school is fucking married and talking about their wives and kids. the social scene in utah is horrible
 
ya pretty much what me and the boy do at night is  dinner then either arcade, bowling or the dollar theater, and we are both 21yrs old +
 
this thread is really depressing. me and my boys are making a trip this year, im was trying to talk them into park city. we all like to party hard though. he was telling me the liqour laws are all jacked up out there, and theres no where worth a shit to drink at. i cant believe it would be such a big ski town and not have some good bars or clubs. is the nightlife really THAT bad?

not THAT bad...and every body complains about our liquor laws...just get your ass to a liquor store.

there are plenty of states that are worse then us

at least hear you can buy booze on sunday.
 
3.2% beer only on Sundays, liquor stores are closed. There are bars and stuff in Utah, they just suck a little, or maybe a lot, compared to most other places. And yeah, the whole girl situation is pretty much as bad as everyone claims.
 
then why dont you and the other two girls make some fucking lady friends to even out the odds, oh wait you girls are attention whores and love the fact that all guys can only hit on you three girls, nevermind.
 
right, well im not traveling cross country just to party. ive got to be able to have some beers after a long day of skiing though. my friend was in SLC a while back and i think he got the impression there was no drinking at all.

hopefully ill be there december.

In the 5 months I've been in SLC I've had no trouble getting fucking DRUNK or finding girls, so yeah, don't believe the hype about not partying.

I don't know about scary, MoMo, suburban vanillaville though. Downtown and PC are the spots.
