Atomic Urban Triplets = Park Ski?

im curious to know what people think about the Atomic Urban Triplets, the 175cm one, i know its a few years old, but i ski on a budget, thoughts?

very very soft ski. still i have heard very good things about this ski. the graphics on them (free and blue with a big eye on it) are one of my favs.
thats all i can say as i havnt skied them. message fouldsys i am fairly sure that he had this ski, and is a big beleiver. good luck homieeee

i know a kid who has them in a 175. sick ski, even though this kid sucks and when hes not races, he is a park poser. its pretty soft, but not like so soft that you will get killed in crappy stuff. pretty durable and like said above, my favorite ski graffic of all time

a friend of mine has been skiing them for 2 seasons now, they have amazing durability, are soft and are overall a sick ski

haha okay im glad y'all are giving them solid reviews cause i bought them the other day... the bindings that come with them are pretty good right? i mean it was made to go with the ski as the guy told me, so i assume they are good bindings right?

That sounds suspicious about the bindings...........what brand and model are they? If they are Atomic bindings it means they are re-branded Salomons, probably the Z series and there isn't much chance they will last long and keep you attached to your skis.

getyour nollie on with urban triplets sonnnnnn.

and depends on the binding, if its the ffg 14 its great. if its the 12 get something else.

shoot no man it doesnt look like the atomic ffg 14 or 12.... hmmm.... the box the bindings came in was designed to hold three pairs of bindings tho... when i get them back ill post a pic up and y'all can tell me what you think

not sure if this is referring to me, but I have had mine for two seasons now and I gotta say they are my most preferred ski. overall just so sick and great for everything. even powder at center mount. ridiculously light and easy to turn. soft but not noodles. perfect.

the double rail on the bottom is stupid though, it's a major manufacturing defect. it will start separating from the rest of the base after a month or two, and eventually the entire center section of the base will rise higher (or lower if the ski is face down) than the rest of the base, exposing the double rail. at this point my double rails are heavily cracked and a section of my ski does not contact rails when I am on them.. but I must say for jumps, after two long seasons they still remain a DREAM. i know once I can no longer ride mine and can afford 09 Punx I will be buying them. I'm sure they've only improved since then and I believe... the double rail is not included in those skis which is a MAJOR contribution to the longevity of the ski.

k heres a fun fact

if you get a chance check out the 08 and 09 Urban Punx. i've ridden both and you will notice that the edge reinforcement has been moved an inch inwards, towards the centre of the ski. i had the same problem with my 07 U.Trips but this edge move has completely saved the ski.

it no longer seperates in teh slightest. ive skied over 200 days on my 08 Urbans and it is still fully intact. so yeah..thats fixed. Get Urbans again, you wont be dissapointed

dude, do not get them they suck! my friend had them and snapped 2 of them, ya 2 of the 3 snapped in half. they have weak ass cores.

well if i do manage to snap 2 of the three ill just go back to my tried and true public enemys

heres a pic of the ski and binding it came with....

let me know what you think
