Atomic Tweaks

I'm surprised more people on NS arent talking about the Atomic Tweak.

I bought 1080's a month ago, looking for a ski that would be good for about %60 all mtn.

I wish someone had told me about the Tweak.

They are ridiculously light and apparently very durable. Mounted with Look p12 jibs, this seems like the perfect 50%/50% ski.

people on this site tend to dislike atomic a great deal. as for me, i just got the urban triplets, and i find them a great all mountain ski. but i have heard good things about the tweaks

tweaks are a sick ski. and with rex at the wheel of the freeride program there is nothing to fear

the tweaks are a blast. check out the pimp and stomp also. sick.

i wouldn't mind hearing more about the triplets all mt. if u get a chance.

the tweaks are a good ski, they tend to be very underrated because Atomic isn't "core" enough for the rich wannabe 12 year olds

i have some atomic rodeos which are now my urban skis but i found them great all mtn skis. The bad thing is that are quite skinny. Really nice all mtn sidecut though. The triplets looks good too, upgraded tweak

Well you've got me considering them now. I'm looking at the Stomp as well. The tweak is still a decently fat ski, and I'm afraid that the Stomp will just be too fat, and I'll lose edge to edge control.

I'm definitely going to demo the K2 PE's on Monday, but they're a bit heavy.

I think I've got my list down to Atomic Tweak/Stomp, Head Mojo 80, Line Skogen, and K2 PE's for my all-mountain air ski to replace my Atomic race carvers.

I like that the Stomp comes in a 176, where the Tweak comes in a 172, which I worry might be too short. I can get the PE's in a 174. I'd end up with the Mojo 80's in a 172 probably, and I know the Skogens would be a 178.

I have to say this... the Tweaks and Stomps have UGLY UGLY graphics :) I wonder how similar the Triplets really are to the Tweaks?

The only truly infuriating thing is that I want Volkl Karmas in a 177, but they're just too damn expensive... blast you Volkl!!!!

I was in the same situation. I would love to get some Karmas, but I ended up finding some new Tweaks for $175. I haven't had the opportunity to try them out yet, but I am ridiculously pumped. I'll get back to you in a week or two after finals are over and I have a chance to try em out.

Tweaks rock. I skied them all last season. They are light, hold a sick edge in ice/crud/whatever. Cruise on groomers fine and are great in the park. I have about 60 days on mine and they are holding up fine! Super tough base too.

Well I'm thinking of trying Tweaks. I'm going to be riding some K2 PE's on Monday. I can find Tweaks for cheap, but I can't decide which size to go with... I'm thinking the 172 rather than the 181 just for maneuverability sake.

I'd love to try some Skogens. I've been told by several local shop folks that the K2 PE and the Volkl Karma ski surprisingly similar... which I suppose makes sense given they're somewhat similar shape and construction.

The Karma's felt lighter though.

i dont really like the tweaks..i rode my friends today and its hard to carve cause the edges are really sharp..these would be best in really icy mountains.

well idn dude..they just felt alot sharper then mine and they were like 6 cms bigger then mine but they wernt bad but i dont like them..now the 1260 djs are hot sex.

alright w/e i can carv but not good i mean my mountain sucks u dont even need to carve down the hills here but i can carv idn what i was doing wrong but even my friends who are alot better then me at carving said they were sharp.
