Atomic Tweak Stiffness...?

I'm about 5'10 and weigh right around 140. Do you think Atomic tweaks in a 172 would be too stiff to just dick around with and have fun in the park?

^^^really? i'm sort of new to the whole twin tip skiing, so i decided to go with 172s. Yea, i already have them. They aren't center mounted either, i believe they are at recommended. I was just seeing what you guys think about them or if I should get something different.

I'm 6' and I have 172's.. kinda wish I had the 182's though. GREAT SKI. they are stiff, but I like a stiffer ski, work great in all types of snow.. not the best in deep pow though, only 78mm wide. I think they are one of my all time fav. ski's though. If you dont mind a stiffer ski and do alot of all mtn. by all means get them. Good luck.

Tweaks are by no means at all stiff. They are stiff for the first day and thats it. They have a shitty foam core and after a couple weeks of riding they are like wet noodles. I saw a pair snap right in half. But these skis arent stiff at all.

Your full of shit. Tweaks in the world of twins are stiff, maybe not stiff next to a carve/race ski. I've skied 100+ days on my tweaks and they are just as good now as they ever were.. as for the core, they have carbon fucking rods through them.. yeah real weak and noodle like.. dumb ass.

Okay, my friend has a pair shipped to Atomic because they snapped in half. His skis were just as flexible, if not more flexible then my friends T Halls.

might've just been a manufacturing fault in his skis, that doesn't mean all atomic tweaks will suffer the same fate, free_ski's didn't snap in half after 100+ days

haha I wish people wouldn't just judge a ski based on one case where they fucked up, there's thousands of those things out there
