100+ days last season Dspinx... you still ski more than I do? Anyways, as Rex said, if you rotate the skis then you'd have equal wear and tear... it really isn't hard to come across a 3rd binding. What would worry me more is having the other binding be different... I dunno why it worries me, it just does. Its a good idea but it'll be interesting to see how it's marketed, that's what will make the biggest difference. As you can tell, the freeskiing market isn't full of open-minded intelligent people... not always the easiest group to influence as most of them are also stubborn/ignorant.

did you ever think about it this way, you break a ski, so you rip the binding off of it and mount the binding off the broekn ski onto the new one, and as soon as thats done your good to go!

well, im must say that i'm interested to see what they end up being, cause i highly doubt a company as large as Atomic would put something out that the masses of people would just think is a dumb idea. believe it or not, the guys at Atomic are smart people, looking to put out a better product for us

yeah, they would have to be really something for me to buy them. whats the point? you break one ski, you can sub one in? sounds like a good idea for the minority of people the break skis during the season, but ive never broken a ski. what does this say about their confidence in the strength and durability of their skis?

i ussually want different skis if one breaks, and why not just buy another pair, if the other unbroken one out of the 3 is gonna break anyway

personally my outlook on this 'hype' idea is really stupid, 3 skis or not, you buy bindings in sets of 2, not 3. skis the same price as 1080s? not if you need 3 bindings..

Elan has this double edge thing in the middle of their base on their twintip...its just two edges that are placed in the middle of the base underfoot...i dunno what its supposed to do but it kinda sounds like what atomic is doing
