i broke this year triplets doing a 5, and i finnaly got them back on warranty, and i ahve to say im slightly disapointed.....

THe bases look exactly the same only with different picks, and they still have that gay second edge in the base.

the graphics are somehwat similar to jsut gray and black.....

anyone else see them

they are the same flex and sidecut and everything as last year just with diff colors....
 
well since there are no triplets next year we have no clue what they sent you...possibly punx?????
 
the second edge is only there to support to the outer edge(same piece of metal.

I ski on the triplets, while there is room for improvement, the 07/08 is only the second year with this design, give them sometime to figure it out. They are pretty new to the freeride scene.
 
yeah, the punx....sorry, i only looked at them for a sec, but they look and feel and everyhting exactly as the urban triplets, even with the stupid second edge.....like i said beofre, just saying i was disapointed wiht them
 
well from what i understand in the SIA video they say the Punx is just like the triplets minus 1 ski so i dont think they changed a whole lot and most ppl like that extra edge underfoot for on rails
 
it is a shitty ski, not durable.....chips alot and the ski break easily

and the punx give u threee skis, so they are urban triplets.....its the same mold, just different graphix....and the second edge does not support the outer edge. it pulls outa the base and jsut causes problems, i had them, id know
 
You got 3 punx? That's really weird, yeah the video says you get 2, and that there's no more 3 ski sets, that's really weird/cool. Maybe take pics of your 3, I figured they only had 2 designs since they are only selling 2 skis now..
 
actually they are way different for next year. there are no rivets, the inner edge is closer to the middle this time hopefully eliminating the edge seperation part and they are way heavier. not sure on flex pattern but its probably still the same. also the side walls are farther out then the top sheet so there won't be as many top sheet chips.
