why?...pointless...thats all i had to say but i dont think atomic was thinking when they did this. Bindings come in pairs and thier skis come in threes? unless you got the reactors and switch all the time it is gay. Also whats that saying about thier ski if they are saying...if you break one...you have one to replace it with? sounds like shit

ermm, you seem to be confused. allow me to enlighten you.

The Atomic Triplet is in fact a quite revolutionary idea, meant for the hardcore rider who rides hard. You buy three skis, with a THREE BINDING bundle..if you buy seperately, then yeah, you have to get three bindings, but thats all called marketing.

Anyways, the point is that people who ride their skis hard break skis, and send them in to try to get them warrantied. In the meantime, they only have one ski. With the Triplets, you still have two other ones. its also a way to make your boards last longer because you can rotate them through...

It is ALSO a way for non-sponsored hardcore riders to get 3 differnt pairs of skis (3 + 3 = 6) for less, so they can have the advantage that sponsored riders do, without shelling out as much.

Rex'll probably shed some more light whenever he gets on...

Atomic accepts the fact that skis will break and throws in a third so you aren't proper fucked when one does.

 
but you then have three pairs of the same ski, i think its nice that theyre giving this a try but most people probably arent going to be sold on this.

I agree it is pretty weird, but I hope it catches on.

Imagine those half price/clearance/end of season sales. Buy two sets of triplets = 3 pairs of skis for the price of one brand new pair.

Shut the Fuck up. Just because Atomic didnt start out making park skis, that doesnt mean they are a buch of uptight whore, like yourself. 'Core' companies are great, dont get me wrong, but they ain't what gets the sport very far. Atomic skis are rock-solid, and you have no fucking right to bash them seen as you havent even riden the triplets, and i can bet that you probably havent riden any other atomics either...

seems like a good idea to me, I think people just hate on them because they are different, and in my eyes a smarter company then the others. Even if they did this just to make more money its the same thing as any other company does, which is making a product that you want and trying to make as much money off of you as possible.

atomic is famous for making their skis that ways that only their bindings fit. So I guess they'll also sell the bindings in 3s.

its for if one breaks. although that is a poor marketing technique to admit that your skis may break i think it is beneficial to the consumer(you) cuz what can you do with one broke si one unbroken not much
